Pick up a cheap trailer with a lot of rust and revamp it (not cheaper than buying a good one but you learn a lot)
Shocking Electrics needed replacing first
Rip out axles, springs and hubs
Remove rust and install new axles springs and hubs
Add new damper, gaiter and jockey wheel
New base boards
